This first progress update on our SBTi targets reflects our commitment to aligning with a 1.5°C pathway and driving meaningful change across our value chain. Since setting our targets, we have made measurable progress in key areas, reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions, sourcing renewable electricity, engaging suppliers, and advancing FLAG-related actions.

Detailed figures and performance indicators are provided in the accompanying GHG inventory table, ensuring transparency and enabling stakeholders to track our progress and understand the steps we are taking toward our 2030 goals.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to taking action and collaborating, both internally and with our suppliers, to deliver on our ambition for an even better future.

1. Scope 1 & 2 Emissions Reduction

Target: Reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2021 base year.
Progress: We have implemented energy efficiency measures and optimized logistics to reduce direct and indirect emissions. Initial reductions as of 2024 of -19% confirm that we are on track toward our 2030 goal.

2. Renewable Electricity Commitment

Target: Continue annual active sourcing of 100% renewable electricity through to 2030.
Progress: We maintained 100% renewable electricity sourcing across all operations during the reporting period and continued our own solar energy production on some of our packhouse roofs, reinforcing our commitment to decarbonizing our energy use.

3. Supplier Engagement

Target: Ensure that 90% of suppliers by emissions (covering purchased goods and services and upstream transportation and distribution) have science-based targets by 2027.
Progress: We launched a supplier engagement program and initiated dialogues with key partners. Several suppliers indicated they were working to set SBTi-aligned targets or have had them validated prior to the publication of this report. We are expanding outreach to accelerate adoption in 2026.

4. FLAG Emissions & Deforestation

Target: Reduce absolute Scope 1 and 3 FLAG GHG emissions by -30.3% by 2030 from a 2021 base year and maintain no deforestation across primary deforestation-linked commodities.
Progress: We have strengthened monitoring for land-related emissions and implemented deforestation-free sourcing guidelines. Initial reductions of -13% (Scope 1 FLAG) and -22% (Scope 3 FLAG) have been achieved.

Next Steps

We will continue to scale initiatives, deepen supplier collaboration, and invest in innovative solutions to achieve our science-based targets as validated by the SBTi. Our progress demonstrates that climate action is integral to our business strategy and long-term resilience.
