BayWa Global Produce is one of the most important international suppliers of fruit and vegetables.
Today we are one of the most globally connected and diverse fresh produce suppliers. We source a colourful portfolio of fruit and vegetables from all corners of the world, ranging from apples and stone fruit to berries and exotics. Globally established apple brands such as JAZZ™ and Envy™ enrich our premium portfolio, which also includes mangoes and avocados at ready-to-eat quality.
By being open to new ideas, sharing insights and utilizing the comprehensive knowledge of our network, together we adapt and shape our business to successfully navigate into the future. We aim to further expand our global reach and strengthen our position as a reliable partner to support the success of our stakeholders.
Our Southern German origin is still home to our subsidiary BayWa Obst. The company services many family farms in the Lake Constance and Neckar growing regions with its modern sorting, cool-storage, packing and marketing facilities.
For over 125 years, T&G Global has grown, marketed, exported and sold fresh fruit and vegetables to consumers around the world. Since acquiring a majority shareholding in 2012, BayWa has become one of the most important suppliers of pome fruit worldwide. In addition to accessing its premium portfolio of brands and genetics, this move enabled us to establish international trade links with the American continent, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
By acquiring a majority stake in TFC Holland, a specialist in exotic fruits and vegetables, we further expanded our position as a leading international fruit marketer. TFC has long-standing international trading relationships in all procurement markets for exotic fruits and vegetables – mainly for avocados, mangoes and ginger.
With Al Dahra , a leading agribusiness company, we formed a joint venture and built a 12 ha climate-controlled greenhouse in Al Ain to serve the local market.
For us, fresh produce and sustainability are inextricably linked – which is why, together with our global network, we take a holistic view of sustainability that protects our global value chains. To direct our activities, our sustainability strategy is built on three core pillars.
The core element of our strategy is building strength and sharing knowledge among our companies and partners.
